This all-terrain detector offers new and exclusive Garrett technology that makes it ideal for hunting coins, relics, caches, jewelry, and even gold nuggets. Select from either Standard or Professional search modes with enhanced audio features.

use in rental hire company ,mainly for contractors to
find lost parts off machinery, and also hire to people with lost rings etc.

When searching for a metal detector the AT Pro was the one that stood out among the others out there.Being an all terrain and all weather detector which can be used in rain or shine and under water to a 10ft depth was a must have.Why buy a detector if it has to be covered or put away as soon as the weather changed?.To be able to use it at the beach in salty conditions also was a must have option.
Having no volume control on the detector would have to be my biggest gripe so using the headphones with the volume control on them solves this.Apart from that the AT PRO Detector is a very good machine and I like it so much I now have two of them using different size coils between them.

Great machine if you're serious about relic hunting & dirt fishing. I started with an Ace 250 and that was fine but this is a whole new beast altogether. Wish I had just gone for the AT Pro from the beginning. I now relic hunt full time as part of my new job and already I've found some pretty cool stuff from musket balls & grapeshot to vintage cast toys and I know I would have missed a lot of targets with the Ace for sure. So, couldn't be happier.

Amazing service from Garrett NZ team! - Super fast shipping, arrived the day after I ordered. I have only had a cheap detector for the last six months so it looks like the AT-Pro will take some hours of detecting to get the hang of it but, I'm assured by reading all the forums it will pay off in the end and will become your best friend :) – Let the hunt begin.

The AT Pro is a great choice for wide range of users. It takes few days of using it to get used to all the different modes but the instructional DVD explains everything in detail. I appreciate quality products and this is certainly one of them; it's not the cheapest but you will get what you pay for.
The unit was shipped and arrived very fast, included batteries, headphones with volume control and branded shoulder bag.
I'm little surprised the volume cannot be adjusted on the machine itself but then I won't miss any tone when in the proportional mode.
